Copyright

New copyright regulations came into force on the1st of January 2005.

The regulations allow for Copyright owners to provide an infringement notice in accordance with the prescribed format set out in the Copyright Act to a provider for any infringing material.

The act also allows for the of owners of alleged infringing copyright content to raise a counter notice defending the claim in the prescribed format.

The hosting or posting of illegal or copyright material using Wideband Networks shall constitute a breach of " Wideband Networks Acceptable Use Policy "and may result in termination of the offending account.
