Content filters allow for the filtering of content which may be adult in nature, objectionable or inappropriate in content and not intended for minors.

There is of course is no substitute for supervision of minors when they are using the internet and Wideband strongly recommends parents and guardians supervise children's use of the internet at all times.

Suggestions for parents or guardians maybe to place the computer which has internet access in an open area of the house, or ensure the door to the area where the computer is housed is always open and the children can expect you to monitor what they are doing. (nothing to hide).

Parents and guardians need to ensure that children understand that whilst the internet can be a a fantastic educational and fun experience that the same caution and safety which needs to be exercised in the outside world applies to the internet.
