Wideband Networks Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aussie Broadband Pty Ltd and is a locally owned and operated Telecommunications Carrier and Internet Service Provider based in Gippsland.

The company operates one of regional Australia's largest wireless networks, as well as ADSL and ADSL 2+ broadband internet services, in addition we provide VoIP (Voice over IP), Web Hosting and Private Networks (Corporate Connect).

The Wireless tower network includes sites which are all interconnected using Licensed Microwave technology in redundant loops. Customers are connected via Point to Multipoint wireless systems which provides a high quality, (QOS) enabled network.

Wideband's IP network extends from Melbourne through to East Gippsland, in addition we have intercapital services between Melbourne and Sydney to provide optimal routing.

Our strength and success is attributed to our understanding of regional and rural needs, and our personal commitment to provide a quality service to our customers.

Wideband Network's was one of the first companies to be granted registration by the Department of Broadband, Communications & The Digital Economy to provide subsidised wireless services in Gippsland.

In September 2007 Wideband was approved to provide subsidised satellite services to regional and rural Victoria

In July 2008 Wideband Networks Pty Ltd merged with Westvic Broadband Pty Ltd to create one of Regional Victoria's largest Service Providers. The Merged company Aussie Broadband has been established to break into the larger Australian Market.

In August 2008 Wideband and Aussie Broadband was again approved to provide subsidised Satellite and Wireless services.

Our company is committed to providing quality, high speed broadband access to rural and regional areas of Victoria through the use of Satellite, Wireless and Fixed Line Technologies.
